We celebrated Ethan's birthday yesterday. He is a big Magic fan, so that was the theme of the day. I made him a Magic cake the night before. I thought it would be easy, but it was much harder and time consuming than I thought. Icing a ball in not the easiest task.
Ethan loves to wake up to balloons in his room on his birthday, so at 10pm I was blowing these guys up. Derek even bought Magic colors when he picked them at the store.
Derek really loves Ethan because he work up at 6:50am so that Ethan could open his presents before school. Derek does not wake up early, so this was a big sacrifice for him.Aubrey picked out a BeyBlade for Ethan. 
First item up, some Orlando Magic shorts to go with his jersey.
An Orlando Magic backpack. This is made out of jersery material. It was a big hit at school.
He got the frog habitat he has wanted since Christmas. We ordered our tadpoles today. 
This was from Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Keith and Aunt Kelly. When I told him who it was from he said, "This must be expensive." I think he meant because it was from all of them and it was a small package. We got a good laught though!
Magic lounging shorts
This was supposed to be the long sleeve shirt that the players wear at the beginning of the games, but the wrong one was sent. We got an adult small instead. The store is sending us a new one.
He also got warm up pants. Ethan loves to wear layers of all the Magic clothes he has while watching the games and take them off like the players do as the game goes on. Now he will have all the appropriate layers.
Ethan picked out this cake at Target of a basketball court for celebrating his birthday at school. He had lots of fun playing with the little men at dinner.
Ethan had a soccer game and then chose to go to Red Lobster for his birthday dinner. He is a little sweaty still from his soccer game.
We were pretty worn out by the end of the day...but still needed to get home to have cake.
Ethan took a shower first, that is why his hair is wet.
He had a few minutes to put on his new Magic clothes and play his new Wii game before bed.
We came home from school today and a package was waiting at the door.
The J.J. Redick jersey he has been asking for came from Aunt Laura and Uncle Will today. He was one excited boy!
