It is sort of a yucky rainy day today so we did some crafts today after we picked Ethan up from school. Ethan was talking about how the other kids made friendship boats at school today and he did not get to and was sort of sad. If I get the story correct I believe that it was something that was started while we were in Concord and he did not have the picture to do it. That was the inspiration for doing some crafts. He asked if we could make a boat at home. Sure, why not. I made a boat pattern and Ethan did all the cutting and then colored it. We added a picture of him and he decided that Aubrey could be his friend. Aubrey did a masterpiece of her own. Ethan seems to enjoy painting at school so I picked up some paints today and let him do some painting while Aubrey went down for a nap. Derek is coming home from his little trip with the guys tonight and we are anxious to spend some time with him.
