Ordination

We are excited to announce that Derek will be ordained on his first anniversary at Parkview. Typically, in the Baptist Church the first church you serve with with ordains you. Our previous church where Derek had served for the last 10 years never ordained him. We are excited that our current pastor has recognized Derek's gifts and the valuable aspects he brings to the ministry of the church. We do not have a date yet, but it should be some time in June. We are excited and Derek will now be able to perform weddings and funerals. Just kidding, that is true but for those of you who know Derek, I do not think will ever happen.
