Before I forget you need to check out the DerekBarryJohn link to the left and see an interview that Pastor Barry did with Ethan the other night, it is very cute.
I have two more presents to wrap and then we are ready for Christmas at our house. Ethan was sick over the weekend and Aubrey now has it. We were using a gift card that someone had given us last night and just after we ordered, Aubrey threw up all over the table. At least our food was not there yet. Aubrey and I were quarantined to the car while Derek and Ethan asked for our food to go. It seems to be a 24 hour bug so hopefully she will be better tonight.
Aubrey has become a heavy drinker. All she wants to do is drink. She probably has 8-10 sippy cups to drink each day between chocolate milk and juice. She had an appointment yesterday with the pediatric optometrist and her eyes checked out fine. Her pediatrician wanted them checked out because of her weak ankles. He said that sometimes there is a correlation with eyes. She was fine. She had to have her eyes dilated though and did not care for that, especially in the sun (she would not wear the sunglasses they gave her). The Children's hospital in Jacksonville that we went to was wonderful. I am scheduling an appointment with the orthopedic department in January to get her ankles checked out and see where we are with her braces.
Derek has been very busy at church with all the services this weekend and also a funeral he is playing for.
Bruster is at the vet getting neutered today.
Those are all the updates , so here are a few pictures for you to enjoy.
Ethan's new turtle named Roper. He is compliments of Grandpa. Keith, Ethan wanted me to put a picture of him up so that you could see him because you really liked him.
Ethan lays on his top bunk and watches his turtle that sits on his dresser. He spends a lot of time doing this.
Aubrey enjoying her favorite food - chicken nuggets at the food court in the mall. She later spilled her drink and it was all over the floor. I was thankful that the chair had holes in it for the drink to go through instead of her clothes.
Aubrey using a napkin - she does not like to be dirty.
Ethan really wanted to wrap a present for Aubrey. We bought her something and already wrapped it. This morning he wrapped one of his toys for her. He used about half the dispenser of tape and spent about 30 minutes doing it, but he did it all by himself and was very proud.
The final product ready to go under the tree.
Grandma and Uncle Keith playing an exciting game of Candy Land with Ethan.
Before dropping Grandma and Keith off at the airport we stopped in the Gingerbread spectacular at the mall in Daytona. Ethan really likes them and we got a lot of good ideas for ours next year.
The penguin one was Ethan's favorite.
