I would like to nominate Heather Overton for Volunteer of the Month. Heather has been a parent at our school for the last year and a half. She is also a former teacher and is always helping to come up with great ideas for the classroom, willing to help with bulletin boards, or other creative ventures. She is also willing to work with students one on one or in small groups to help ensure their future success. She volunteers consistently on a weekly basis, and is always willing to do anything to help out in my class or in our school. Having parents such as Heather Overton, makes teaching a joy! This is what Ethan's teacher put in the school newsletter this week. I do enjoy helping in Ethan's class and I am glad that he enjoys it as well!
