Early Present
We had a gift exchange on Saturday at church for people who could not afford gifts for their kids.
Palm Coast has a terribly high unemployment rate, so it was a blessing to be able to help out the community. People gave slightly used or new toys and people came and shopped on Saturday morning. Our life group took on the project of checking people out where we told them about our Christmas Eve services and our food pantry that is available. We also asked them if they had any spiritual needs or anything we could pray with them about. It was so awesome how open and receptive people were. I prayed with at least a dozen people that morning and it was so rewarding! As it was wrapping up, there was still a huge ziploc bag full of Polly Pocket clothes. Aubrey is totally into them and I was given the okay to let her have them. She played with them all day long and even got Ethan to play with her. It was really sweet.
