I was able to do some baking over the weekend. A sweet grandfather at our church asked me if I would make a cake for his grandaughter for her birthday. It was so sweet because he gave me a sketch he made of what he would like. He wanted half Girl Scouts and half soccer. He wanted the border to be both paint brushes and music notes because those are all the things she likes. This was my final product.
My Aunt Judy sent me a recipe for Red Velvet cake balls inside a chocolate chip cookie. We were having a dinner with our Life Group on Monday, so I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to make these. They were yummy!
