Spring Break Part 2

Wednesday we headed down to Disney for a few days. On Wednesday we went to Epcot and got just a little wet a few times. Here the kids did different things in front of a screen and then they were in their own video games. It was pretty neat.

They loved sampling the different Coke flavors around the World. Last time we came, this activity closed before we were able to enjoy it. My kids love samples at stores, so this was right up their alley.
Aubrey would not leave until she sampled every one. She later said that this was her favorite thing we did that day.
There was a special picture spot for only people with a Disney Visa. That was us, so we enjoyed a little photo perk.

You can not go to Disney and not get a Mickey ice cream. I love these pictures of Aubrey enjoying hers.

Oh yeah, it was that good! After this picture she said she was full and did not want anymore. Good girl to stop when you are full, I wish I could learn that lesson!
Ethan went for the popsicle option. He ate the whole thing by the way.
Thursday we ventured to Hollywood Studios. We were the first ones on Tower of Terror. All we told the kids was that is would drop some. I know, mean parents. They basically hated it. The next day Ethan said he might try it again, but he was sure not wanting to try it again while we were still there. Ethan did however LOVE the Rockin Roller Coaster. That was his favorite ride this visit. He rode it twice since Derek and I had to switch out because Aubrey was not tall enough for this ride.
These pictures pretty much summed up our day...wet and living in our ponchos! We made the best of it and still had a good time.

We went back to the hotel and cleaned up and went out to dinner. There was a man at the restaurant making balloon animals. He told the kids he could make any animal, so they asked for guinea pigs. Aren't they cute?Derek is silly and wanted me to take his picture at our hotel. This picture was by the elevator and he was wanting to do this the whole time.

Friday the weather was beautiful for our day at Magic Kingdom. Unfortunately, everyone else wanted to take advantage of the nice day and it was packed! We even had to wait in line for the Swiss Family Robinson tree house for like 15 minutes and then walk through in a very slow moving line. What?? Nobody does the tree house! That was the final straw and we decided to pack it in for the day. The kids did have a good time though. Aubrey did not really care for Space Mountain, but she did it. Ethan loved both Space and Splash Mountains. Here they are playing at Tom Sawyer Island. I think they would have played pirates all day there and had just a grand time. I think they loved the freedom of playing and running around after standing in lines so much.
We got back to our hotel around 5:00 and let the kids swim for awhile. They had been dying to get into the pool, but the weather would not cooperate.

Derek's sister Melody and her husband Barry were in Tampa without the kids, so they met up with us for breakfast on Saturday. They live in Delaware and we do not get to see them that often so it was a nice treat.

We had a great spring break and today I am catching up on laundry and stuff for a smooth week back to school.
