Our Weekend

On Friday morning Ethan got the prize out of his Apple Jacks! He had been eating them all week, sometimes two bowls, to try to get the prize. He was so excited. It is a little lady bug that has an xbox game. I do not really think he knows what he is doing, but he acts like he does. Aubrey thinks it is a phone and put it up to her ear and said hello.
Our season passes to SeaWorld expire in Jan. so we picked up Ethan from preschool on Friday and headed there one last time. We saw 3 of Ethan's favorite shows and did a simulated Polar Express. Of, course I left my camera in my car. The lines were great and we got to feed the dolphins. Ethan got to pet them and everything. There was even a Santa at the Polar Express and you could take pictures with your own camera, but of course mine was in the car. Ethan asked Santa for a Leapster. Aubrey was terrified of him. She gets that from her Aunt Kelly!
We saw the Christmas Shamu show, but it was not their best one. On the way home we stopped in at the new IKEA in Orlando. Ms. Linda behind us let out Bruster and Lucy (we were still watching her) and fed them dinner since we were gone so long. Bruster did surprisingly well. He only required a bath and the crate and bathroom needed minimal cleanup.

These are flowers that Derek has on our patio and they are beautiful. They started as bulbs and grew really fast.

On Saturday and Sunday we decorated for Christmas.
The final product. This is the top of our tree and Ethan was concerned that it was not an angel. We told him that was okay. Decorator Daddy had different ideas. It looks beautiful.
Here is Aubrey photo shoot to try to get a good picture of her in her Santa hat for our stocking holders. Let's just say it was a challenge.
Cute if she would have looked at the camera.
Again, cute if the arms would have been down.
This is the best one, I am going to lighten it up before I print it. She sure is a handful.

Yesterday afternoon Ethan and I borrowed a truck (my first time driving one) and went to Toys R Us in Daytona to get the playground that Grandma and Grandpa are getting them for Christmas/Birthdays this year. I was very excited because it was on sale and then if you get a credit card you get another 15% off. I saved $236. It took some effort, but it feels good to have it in the garage. We hired someone to put it together on Friday and Toys R Us could not guarantee having any in stock since they were on sale. There was one more left yesterday when we got there.
