Weekend With Clifford

Aubrey had Clifford for the weekend from school. Here is what they did together.
Clifford helped wash the car on Friday afternoon.

After all that hard work they had a little snack. Funny how Clifford was hungry a lot over the weekend. It was a convient way for a little girl to sneek in a few extra snacks.

We made caramel apples and Clifford helped wash them.

They cuddled on the couch with Daddy and watched a movie.

They camped out in the tent on the porch.

Clifford stayed out there all night long too!

On Saturday we went to a friend's birthday party.

Clifford sunned himself with Bruster.

Sunday, Clifford wenet to church with us. He helped Aubrey color a picture. She did this all on her own and it was the cutest thing. He actually had the crayon in his paw. Ms. Jill the teacher noticed it and I quickly snapped a picture.

He listened to a Bible story about Joseph and his colorful coat.
These are the pictures for her book to take back to school and share with the class. What a fun treat to have Clifford with us.

Sunday night we had a reception at the church for Pastor Barry (our youth pastor) and his family who are moving to Nashville on Friday to start a new church plant. Barry loves this cake that I made so I was asked to make one as big as I could for the event. This thing was huge! It was 12 inches and threee layers tall. Each layer being an entire cake mix. I did not have a box big enough for it so I sat in the back of the Pilot on the way to church to "watch it."
It took up the entire bottom shelf in the fridge.

That is so cute. I love this post and hope to link up to it. I am so happy that I was able to enjoy Clifford over the weekend. Also, on another post, Derek was a great sport to go to school on his day off, what a great daddy!!!
