Noah's Ark

Ethan's Bible story last night was Noah's Ark. There was an activity suggestion for this story. You can guess the suggestion - to make an ark. The book suggested string and sheets. I have never used string in building a fort, but it was a great idea. Ethan woke me up bright and early ready to build the ark. We used his bunk bed to help make the structure and went from there. Here are some pictures for you to enjoy.
Our Ark. It was actually quite large on the inside and I was pretty proud of it. It has a sheet for each wall and then a sheet across the top for the roof.
These are the animals that live in the ocean
Bruster of course had to be a part of the ark, but he only got to stay for a little while because he likes to eat the smaller animals.
A shot of all the animals we found in the kids rooms.
Where did all these animals come from. Ethan was bothered by the fact that we did not have 2 of every animal and I told him he would just have to use his imagination.
Ethan being Noah. He took great care in placing all the animals.
