Graduation

I can't believe that Ethan's Kindergarten year has come to an end. He had a great year and we just loved his teacher. This morning was his graduation ceremony.
Walking in
What's up with being on the front row and standing up to take pictures...seriously!
Singing a song about going into First Grade

Getting his diploma. They were supposed to dress up as who they want to be when they grow up. Ethan really wants to be a police officer, but did not really want to wear the costume he has. Besides he had the tie and matching belt already picked out for graduation, so for today he decided he wanted to be the President. He came up with that all on his own. The cutest comment was a little girl who said she wanted to be just like her mommy. Derek thought is would be funny if someone said they wanted to be an OBGYN. Why is that never something a kid says? Anyway, we had a nice little ceremony.
Aubrey was tired today for some reason and actually very crabby. This picture pretty much sums up her attitude all day. She did sit nicely for the ceremony though.
Proud parents!

Ethan has decided to turn part of his closet into his "office." He is very proud of it and actually spends a lot of time there. Derek found a tap light in the garage that we mounted to the wall and we found the little rug in the cheap section of Target today for $2.50. It is perfect for his office rug.

Ethan got two more Smencils today for graduation. We found them at Books A Million - I did not realize you could buy them in stores. The art teacher at school was selling them and Ethan bought a few with birthday money. They are pencils that smell and are THE THING to have right now apparently. I ordered some online to give out as prizes for VBS.
